====== Configuring SNMP in DHD devices ======

Since firmware version 9.2, SNMP is available within all 9.2 capable series 52 core devices. To configure, follow these steps:

To enable SNMP:

  - In Toolbox, go to ''<Device>'' node and, in licensing area, check “Use 52-8591 SNMP Support”
  - Optional: Navigate to ''I/O Overview'' page, click add to add SNMP user defined logics as GPOs
  - Send the configuration to the device
  - Open [[webapps:system:start|System Web App]] \\ <WRAP center round tip 80%> **Tip**\\  To make full use of the System App you need at least a user within a group that has rights for configuration and maintenance.   - Log in to Web Apps with your console account
  - Open ''System App'', click on''Network Settings'' Page and navigate to ''SNMP Settings''
  - Check ''Enable SNMP'' and click ''Save''. 
  - Optional: You can also select which SNMP version you want to use, setup the Community ID, specify Trap destinations and whitelist management devices.
