The central module 52-1010 is the main control module of a 52/SX mixing console.
In the following table, you can find features and pre-configured push button functions of the 52-1010 central module.
1. Pre-listening and talkback speaker with built-in amp
No additional audio cable is required for this central module. The audio signals will be transported together with control signals and electrical power through one CAT5 cable, which is connected to the APC port on the XS Core.
2. Encoder section for control of EQs, dynamics and other settings
To change parameters of a selected channel, press the Input
, EQ

or Aux
key to switch between the TFT pages.
The 52-1010 has four coloured encoders. Use them to control parameters for EQ, dynamics, Aux etc. on the TFT/Touch display. You can see a coloured frame around the parameters on the TFT display, this colour shows, which encoder controls which parameter.
To recall default values for the whole mixing console, press the Load Default
key one second. In that case, snapshot 0, which is the default mixer snapshot, is loaded.

key to show the Snapshot
view on the TFT. There, you can save up to 20 different mixer snapshots. If a channel is selected, the Snapshots
view shows the available channel snapshots. There, you can save up to 50 different channel snapshots.

4. GP - General Purpose keys
You can use these keys to switch GPOs and get status signalisation from a GPI, or any other available logic source. You can also use these keys to switch the function of one of the encoders next to the OLED-Display. (see 52/SX Configuration - Console)
5. Talkback microphone with built-in preamp
The 52-1010 is the first Series 52 control module with built-in talkback microphone. No additional audio cable is required for this central module. The audio signals will be transported together with control signals and PoE through one CAT5 cable, which is connected to the APC port on the XS Core.

8. Talkback keys
