Snapshot Transfer Conditions

For transferring snapshots from the device to the server and vice versa or to edit snapshots via the Snapshot Manager software, the following conditions must be met. Please note the additional conditions in the DSP Control software manual if you want to handle the snapshots with the DSP Control software.

Mixer Snapshots

To see mixer snapshots on the device To see mixer snapshots on the server To edit mixer snapshots on the server To load mixer snapshots from the server to the device To load mixer snapshots from a device to the server
as current state (Current) as mixer snapshots (Snapshot 1 to 20) and create a new snapshot on the server within this process and overwrite an existing snapshot on the server within this process
the user must hold the rights to use the Mixer Snapshots tab of the Snapshot Manager and to transfer Mixer Snapshots of the desired virtual mixer or the user is an administrator

the Snapshot Group ID of one of the virtual mixers, that are assigned to the snapshot on the device and the Snapshot Group ID of the mixer snapshot on the server must be identical

the user must be the owner of the snapshot he wants to overwrite or the snapshot option Public Writeable is active or the user is an administrator

in the authorization graph (User Rights), the user must be a member of at least one authorization group with write access for the desired mixer snapshot and the right to load it to the device that is assigned to the workstation the user is working with or no user groups are defined in the Toolbox5 configuration or the snapshot is not assigned to any user group or the user is an administrator

at least one of the authorization groups, the user is assigned to, must hold the right to overwrite the chosen mixer snapshot in the device or no user groups are defined in the Toolbox5 configuration or the snapshot is not assigned to any user group or the user is an administrator

the chosen mixer snapshot in the device must be enabled for the virtual mixer that is assigned to the workstation the user is working with

Channel Snapshots

In the following you can find the conditions that need to be met Additionally if you want to handle mixer and channel snapshots with the DSP Control software, but the user must not hold the right to use the Mixer and/or Channel Snapshots tab of the Snapshot Manager as it is described in the general snapshot transfer conditions.

Mixer Snapshots

• In the Feature Manager the Mixer Snapshot Transfer right of the desired mixer need to be assigned to the respective workstation for the currently logged in user or the user holds administrative rights.
• The device must hold the 52-8562 - Snapshot Manager Software license if the Preselection or Snapshot mode is selected.
• In the Feature Manager, the Mixer Snapshot Transfer right of the desired mixer need to be assigned to the respective workstation for the currently logged in user or the user holds administrative rights.
• The Preselection or Snapshot mode needs to be selected.

Channel Snapshots

• In the Feature Manager the Channel Snapshot Transfer right of the desired mixer need to be assigned to the respective workstation for the currently logged in user or the user holds administrative rights.
• The Live DSP Control mode needs to be selected.
• In the Feature Manager, the Channel Snapshot Transfer right of the desired mixer need to be assigned to the respective workstation for the currently logged in user or the user holds administrative rights.
• The device must hold the 52-8562 - Snapshot Manager Software license if the Preselection or Snapshot mode is selected.
