Configuring SNMP in DHD devices

Minimum Firmware version 9.2.0 required.

Since firmware version 9.2, SNMP is available within all 9.2 capable series 52 core devices. To configure, follow these steps:

To enable SNMP:

  1. In Toolbox, go to <Device> node and, in licensing area, check “Use 52-8591 SNMP Support”
  2. Optional: Navigate to I/O Overview page, click add to add SNMP user defined logics as GPOs
  3. Send the configuration to the device
  4. Open System Web App

    Tip
    To make full use of the System App you need at least a user within a group that has rights for configuration and maintenance. See Web Apps: Toolbox setup & user management

  5. Log in to Web Apps with your console account
  6. Open System App, click onNetwork Settings Page and navigate to SNMP Settings
  7. Check Enable SNMP and click Save.
  8. Optional: You can also select which SNMP version you want to use, setup the Community ID, specify Trap destinations and whitelist management devices.
