(1)The assignment of fader processing to layers works in the following way:
Examples:
Up to 24 “DSP” faders, 4 layers, with 52-7523 (Gold and Silver Upgrade), 52-7520 XC3 core
24 “physical” Faders (no layers)
12 “physical” Faders, 2 Layers each
8 “physical” Faders, 3 Layers each
6 “physical” Faders, 4 Layers each
Up to 48 “DSP” faders, 4 layers, with 52-7520 XC3 core and additional DSP card (52-7530)
48 “physical” Faders (no layers)
24 “physical” Faders, 2 Layers each
16 “physical” Faders, 3 Layers each
12 “physical” Faders, 4 Layers each
Up to 96 “DSP” faders, 4 layers, with XD3 core, and at least 3 additional DSP cards (52-7530)
96 “physical” Faders (no layers)
48 “physical” Faders, 2 Layers each
32 “physical” Faders, 3 Layers each
24 “physical” Faders, 4 Layers each
(2)additional license required: 52-8581 - Enhanced DSP Processing
(3)CF/N-1: Clean Feed, mix minus bus, n-1 bus
(4)Internal DSP processing is always stereo. Therefore, the maximum number of mono delays is equal to the maximum number of stereo channels. The right channel is unused in case of mono processing.
(5)additional license required: 52-8583 - XC/XS Core Control Networking
(6)MADI SFP module (52-7593 or 52-7594) required for each SFP cage
(7)additional license required: 52-8582 - XC/XD/XS Core Audio Network
(8)XC Gigabit Audio port (SFP modules 52-7591 or 52-7592) required
(9)GA/MADI SFP cages on XC3 Cores can be used with:
- 52-7593/52-7594 MADI SFP modules (DHD license code included) or
- 52-7591/52-7592 XC Gigabit Audio port (DHD license code included) for Core-to-Core connections or
- to connect Concentrators / MADI Concentrators with their included SFP modules (no DHD license code)
(10)GA/MADI SFP cages of the core 52-7524 can be used with:
GA 1: 52-7593 or 52-7594 MADI SFP module (include DHD license code)
GA 2: 52-7591 or 52-7592 XC Gigabit Audio port (include DHD license code) for Core-to-Core connections
for using 2x MADI or 2x GA Core-to-Core-Connection or Concentrators, a 52-1950 license is required.
(11)XC3 Dante IP Audio Interface (52-7580 / 52-7585) or XC3 AES67 RAVENNA Interface (52-7567) required for the extension slot
(12)Each high priority Output Function can be replaced by two low priority Output Functions.
(13)Only MX, RX, SX, DX and TX modules supporting Firmware 10 can be used with a core running Firmware 10 - for system upgrades, check with your local DHD distributor for module compatibility
(14)If the core is not used in redundancy mode, the sub-D connector at the rear can be internally reconnected to act as an RS232 port. If the core is used in redundancy mode, the connector at the rear is used for the external redundancy cabling. In this case an additional sub-D connector for RS232 can be installed on request at the side of the core.
(15)RS232 port available on request with purchase order
