Symbol | Name | Available in | Function |
| Zoom In | matrix view, all working modes | Increases the matrix view (crosspoints are displayed bigger). |
| Zoom Out | matrix view, all working modes | Decreases the matrix view (more crosspoints can be shown in the window). |
| Expand all | matrix view and list view, all working modes | All stereo crosspoints are displayed expanded with separate crosspoints for the left and the right channel. That applies to channel groups too. |
| Collapse all | matrix view and list view, all working modes | All stereo crosspoints are displayed combined with only one crosspoint for the left and the right channel of a stereo signal. That applies to channel groups too. |
| View as Matrix | matrix view and list view, all working modes | Shows all defined crosspoints in a matrix. |
| View as List | matrix view and list view, all working modes | Shows all defined crosspoints in a list. |
| Cross Point Auto Monitor On/Off | matrix view and list view, live mode | You are able to monitor inputs and outputs. If the function is not active, you can click on the loudspeaker symbols at the inputs and outputs to listen to an input or an output via the TOM module. Right-click a crosspoint to monitor the output, that is dedicated to this crosspoint.
By activating the function Cross Point Auto Monitor you are only able to listen to outputs. For this, you have to move the cursor across the matrix. You will automatically monitor the dedicated output of a crosspoint as soon as the cursor stays longer than one second on this crosspoint. This connection is set until you are not longer pointing on a crosspoint of the same output.
This function needs a configured output monitor for the workstation. |
| Select & Execute Memory | matrix view and list view, live mode | The settings of the matrix can be saved in memories. The function Select & Execute Memory allows you to select and load a saved memory. The crosspoint states of the memory will be sent to the device immediately. |
| Save as Memory | matrix view and list view, live mode | Saves the current crosspoint states in a memory. Therefore, you can create a new memory (New Memory … ) or overwrite an existing one. |
| Execute Preselection | matrix view and list view, preselection mode | Overwrites all crosspoints in the device with the currently preselected states. |
| Reset to Live State | matrix view and list view, preselection mode | Overwrites all preselected states with the current crosspoint settings of the device. |
| Load Memory | matrix view and list view, preselection mode | Loads a memory and sets the selected crosspoints of the memory as preselected. |
| Select Memory | matrix view and list view, memory mode | An existing memory can be loaded by choosing it in this drop-down menu. |
| New Memory | matrix view and list view, memory mode | Creates a new memory. |
| Delete Memory | matrix view and list view, memory mode | Deletes the currently selected memory. The function is only executable if you are authorized to delete the memory. Authorized are the creator of the memory and all administrators. |
| Save as Memory | matrix view and list view, memory mode | Saves the crosspoint settings in a memory. |
| Manage Memories | matrix view and list view, all working modes | The Memories window appears after pressing this button. All existing memories for this routing device are displayed in a list. You can find the name of the creator of each matrix in the column Owned by . If you are allowed to edit this memory, you can make some settings below the list.
Give your memories significant names in the text box Name . Select the checkbox Hide from Memory Selection to deactivate the memory. The read and write conditions can be set in the part of the window named Availability .
• Private : Other users are not authorized to see and to edit the memory.
• Public Readable : Other users are not authorized to edit the content of the memory. But they can edit the memory and save it with a new name.
• Public Editable : Other users are authorized to see and to edit the memory.
Loading a memory can be triggered by a logic. Therefore, click the Select button in the Exec Logic raw and choose a logic from the list (e.g. a GPI). A positive flank of the trigger logic executes the memory, but within the Logic Sources window, the reaction to the logic can also be assigned inverted.
Remove drops the currently selected memory.
Press Apply to save your settings if you want to continue with the memory management or press OK to save and close the Matrices window. It is possible to undo all settings and reload the state you had saved last by pressing Cancel . |
| Execute Memory | matrix view and list view, memory mode | Overwrites the crosspoints in the device with the states of the memory. |
| Take Snapshot | matrix view and list view, memory mode | Overwrites the crosspoints in the memory of the currently selected matrix with the current states of the device. |
| Filter Inputs | matrix view and list view, all working modes | Use this function to show or hide inputs of defined categories. If no category is selected, all input channels are shown. |
| Filter Outputs | matrix view and list view, all working modes | Use this function to show or hide outputs of defined categories. If no category is selected, all output channels are shown. |
